Steven McLendon
Steven McLendon has been a member of WCFD for 7 years and currently serves as Training Officer. He is also paid staff of Wesley Chapel and Stallings VFD. He has been recently hired by Concord Fire Department as a full time Firefighter.
Steven was born in Matthews and moved to Waxhaw in 1993. He graduated from Weddington High School in 2004, currently holds certifications of EMT, Swift Water Rescue Technician, and FF1.
Steven is FF2 certified and has a degree in Fire Science Technology. Special training includes Leadership 1, First Due Engine Company, Haz Mat Tech, ICS, WMD, Vehicle Extrication, PPV, LP Gas, EVD, ERT, and a large number of Live Burns.
Hobbies include Hunting, Fishing, 4 Wheeling, and spending time with Friends and Family.
